      My name is Bethany Burke and I will be teaching your child’s 1st grade class. I graduated from Malone University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Intervention. I pursued this career because I am passionate about investing in the lives of young children. My hobbies include running, traveling, reading, playing games with my family, and spending time outdoors.     

       This will be my seventh year of teaching and my fifth year in first grade. My passion is providing kiddos with engaging and interactive educational opportunities as we learn and grow together. Southeast Local Schools takes pride in promoting positive character traits and I hope to continue this standard of excellence by creating a welcoming classroom environment where students feel safe, loved, accepted, and challenged.
